Hot pressing process of melamine paper hardboard lamination press
Sep 13, 2018

In the melamine paper hardboard lamination press, there are interdependence and mutual constraints between the three elements of the key process during the hot pressing process. Therefore, unified analysis and adjustment are required when performing process adjustment. The three factors have different effects on the veneer. The hot pressing temperature mainly catalyzes the chemical reaction of the impregnated resin, that is, accelerates the curing.

In combination with previous production experience, it is usually appropriate to heat the melamine paper hardboard lamination press at a temperature of 145 to 165 °C. The high temperature is favorable for demolding after pressing, and can shorten the hot pressing time and increase the yield. However, if the temperature is too high, the resin will not be evenly flowed and solidified, resulting in microscopic pores on the surface.

At the same time, in the process of using the melamine paper hardboard lamination press, selecting the proper pressure can achieve a good degree of bonding between the board and the impregnated paper. That is to say, under the action of suitable temperature and pressure, the resin in the impregnated paper melts and solidifies to form a closed, dense surface, and the unevenness and minute pores on the surface of the substrate can be filled.
